Legal Assistance of Olmsted County (LAOC) is very grateful for the numerous donations of time, equipment and money we receive every year from corporations, foundations, law firms and ordinary people who wish to support our work. These donations allow us to continue our ongoing efforts to represent low-income people with non-fee producing civil legal service in Olmsted County.   • Donate Equipment

You may donate new or used office equipment, computer equipment, office furniture, supplies, or other material that would be useful to our work. We are sorry, but we have no need for used law books. However, the Adult Detention Center usually will accept used law books (507-328-6791). If you are interested in donating equipment, contact us at 507-287-2036 or send an email.

  • In-Kind Donations

We also appreciate and use the donation of business services, such as printing, instruction and design work. Contact the LAOC office at 507-287-2036 or send an email to find out whether we can make use of your donated in-kind material or business services.

  • Volunteer

  • Internships

    LAOC provides internships to law students and college undergraduates each summer. Internship are also available during fall, winter, and spring months. Although we are unable to pay a salary to the interns, we provide free office parking, office space, supplies and support, and reimburse expenses incurred in the course of LAOC work.
