MISSION STATEMENT


To provide meaningful access to the judicial system in civil, non-fee producing legal matters to those residents of Olmsted County who would otherwise be denied such access due to an inability to pay for legal services.


SERVICES

Legal Assistance of Olmsted County (LAOC) handles many types of civil cases, including:
  • Family Law (Divorce, Custody and Visitation, Child Support, Paternity, Designation of Standby Custodian, Wills)
  • Tenants' Rights (Evictions, Repairs)
  • Government Benefits (Social Security, Disability, Unemployment)

LAOC provides assistance for other types of civil cases as well. To find out whether your particular case can be handled by LAOC please call the office at 287-2036.
